How to compile ruby?

Hi everybody, I have to modify a very little things in the footer of a website built with ruby.

I have found the file '_footer.erb' but if i change and save nothing happen on the online version. Probably first I have to compile this file. But how can I do this?

Ruby doesn't need compiling, there server will handle that when it's requested. You may need to restart the server after making the change though. It's easy to do, and worth a shot first.

Hi Kevin. Sorry but i'm a noob of server configuration.. How can i restart the online server?

I have the credential to Cpanel and FTP is it enough?
