How to configure PHP with Apache on Windows Server 2008 R2?

I have a VPS windows server 2008 r2. I have installed php and apache web server both on it. But how can i make apache to run my php files ?

you have to enable php in the apache configuration file. I think it's referred to as a Path Environment Variable on Windows. Look towards the bottom of the page linked below.

Can you please explain me in detail. The URL is not much help for me. What should be the versions of my php and apache to run it smoothly
