How to manually accept a clipping mask ?

Hi I wanted to color the content of some paths i created. Therefore is used some rectangles, colored them, and put them behind the whole path design. Then i used the clipping mask to make the rectangles partially disappear. It worked fine, but when i saved it as a .svg file and opened it in a browser it shows me these weird artifacts. (image on the right side) http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3859/pb7mtfwu_png.htm

Now comes the fun part... If i save it as a .TINY-SVG file, the artifacts disappear but the image gets blurry. The artifacts disappear because tiny-svg cuts away all the hidden rectangle-parts, my clipping mask creates.

Now i would like to save it as .svg but apply sort of a manual cut-away first. Is that possible ? Anyone knows how to do that ?

You can play around with the "Pathfinder Tools". It is located in Window -> Pathfinder. You can cut the unnecessary path, instead of hiding it with clipping mask.

Hope that helps.

I deleted all the rectangles and used some paths instead. I fragmented my graphic into different parts with the "line" tool. Then i used the live paint tool to color my graphic. After that i took the pathfinder "merge" function to close the small gaps between the colored forms. Thanks for your help. :D
