How to navigate the Windows File system in the Git-Linux-Bash command line

It seems that the Windows file system has a special area for users in the main Window directory. When in the Git-Linux commandline, the base(home) directory is the main user's folder. My computer's main user is AAro. How do I get out of the main user's directory? I want to go to c:/ or to where I'm storing Repos in the d:/ ?

I want to go here, screenshot http://uploadpie.com/SWDlF
