How to test my website with an image editing tool

I am at the website design and testing part of the course. I am new to all of this and have never used an image editing tool. Nick uses Adobe Photoshop CC and says that if I do not have it, almost any image editing tool will do. I need to know how to find out if my computer has an image editing tool and what it would be called. I have a Toshiba laptop with the latest version of windows. Also, Nick said to get a screenshot of the website by hitting the printscreen key on a pc. One I do that how do I open the image up on the image editor. Thanks

Hi Chris,

Try GIMP it's free and easy to use.

When you make the screenshot just paste from clipboard to GIMP. Or you can use LightShot which gives you an option to directly save the screenshot and you can select what you want to be shot, then open the file in GIMP.

To do a Grayscale in GIMP open the menu: Image > Mode > Grayscale .

Hope this helps.

Enjoy your day.

Thank you.
