Huh?

I found this part of the tutorial utterly confusing, and I'm a teeny bit familiar with try/catch statements.

Re-watch it. No one ever learned programming language by going throw every command once. Which you shouldn't even go throw them all and learn only ones you need in the moment.

I'd like to see this part more fully explained with more examples. Perhaps Hampton can do a tutorial just on exceptions in PHP.

The PHP OOP tutorial, specifically the section about Exceptions. I initiated the question from within the tutorial, not sure why it's not linked to it. Perhaps a moderator can delete my post being that it's out of context and won't make much sense.

No moderator would delete it . A moderator cant delete a post , they took the function out .

Bdw, yeah, i did the same thing , i feel OOP Basics should be improved like three times its quality or quantity too.

Agreed. The PHP OOP tutorial here is a good start, but, should be expanded to include more OOP topics and get a bit more in-depth on other topics. Exceptions, for example, which is breezed through very quickly. Hopefully Hampton will do a few more PHP OOP tutorials.
