Function/method parameters are separated by commas and enclosed by parentheses.

So the basic function or method definition layout is ...

method_type method_name ( parameter1_type parameter1_name , parameter2_type parameter2_name , etc... )

The "etc..." represents additional parameter types and names, if any. There could be any number of them.
