I am stuck on task 1 of 2 in the concatenating lesson.

So it is telling me that I didn't format the email correctly.

You didn't post your code, so I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, but this code should solve the first task:

SELECT first_name || " " || last_name || " <" || email || ">" AS to_field
FROM patrons;
