I am unable to launch the treehouse Console tool for Console Foundations course.

I have tried opening it on both my computer and my girlfriends. I have tried both Chrome and Safari. Anyone else having this issue?

alright I just tried launching the console and it came up without any errors for me. I am on a mac using the latest version of chrome. I would ensure that your chrome is up to date. Its possible its having issues with windows. Have you tried restarting your computer? logging in and out of treehouse? if you have tried all those things I would contact support and explain your situation to them.

I am also on a Mac. I just restarted my computer and logged out and back in and it did not help. I guess contacting support is the next step. Thanks.

alright yeah not sure what it could be. you could follow along with the course using the mac terminal if you wanted. OS X is unix-like so most of the commands are the same as the linux console on treehouse. hope you get it figured out

I am as well.

Can we use another platform in place? I follow along with Sublime Text with some of the other walkthroughs.

I get an error saying:

"Error We're sorry. We're having trouble getting your computer set up. We are working on it right now. Please try again later."

I know it says that its being worked on in the error, but I bring it up because I know that error messages like that are not always accurate.

I'm getting this same problem. I have tried the latest versions of Chrome and Safari on Mac OS Yosemite. Both give the "Error We're sorry. We're having trouble getting your computer set up. We are working on it right now. Please try again later." error. Using my own terminal works fine of course, but now the course wants me to use the treehouse terminal.

So I have reached out to support and the support has not been exactly supportive.

Im going on 3 days now and been told that this will be escalated to the developers.

I wouldnt be upset other than the fact this course is suggested to be followed before the git course which is next on my tracks.

What is the ETA on a fix to this? I havent heard anything since day 1. 48 hrs for a response to a ticket would probably get me in hot water at a support desk.

I just emailed support and it appears they have fixed the issue.

Yep, Clem sure is right. It appears to load just fine now.
