i dont get it, what is the mistake?

I dont get it, what is my mistake here?

Multiple.java
// I've imported java.io.Console for you. It is stored in a variable called console for you.
String name = console.readLine("Enter your name:  ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter a pastTenseVerb:  ");
console.printF("%s is very %s", name, pastTenseVerb);

Nicholas, it's printf (lower case f) rather than printF, and you need to follow the directions exactly as the editor is very picky. The error message will give you a clue on what your String needs to say. Hint: it's not ___ is very ___

Hi, thanks for your quick response. I did change the F to f, but still it has a syntax error and an arrow pointing at the p of pastenseverb.

Nicolas, i ran your code with changing the printF to printf, and then changed the "%s is very %s" to match the sentence the test wants. If you're getting a new error, you've probably introduced some new glitch not present in the code you posted earlier.

As I said, you need to follow the instructions precisely. Remember, it's a computer program that is checking your work.

String name = console.readLine("Enter your name:  ");
String pastTenseVerb = console.readLine("Enter a pastTenseVerb:  ");
console.printf("%s really %s", name, pastTenseVerb); //must match what is requested
