1,396 PointsI don't get the same results as the instructor.
So I watch Guil Hernandez and try to watch him while coding. I get to the point when he is going to make a orange border:
main-footer {
padding: 60px; padding-bottom: 60px; border-bottom: solid 10px orange; }
I wrote exactly as he did and I added an id to the footer in my index.html. Then I save both files and when go to watch my result. The border isnt att he bottom and my bottom paragraph was centered. I wrote exactly as he did so I dont understand how it happened.
CSS: body { color: #878787; margin: 0; }
}
header { background-color: orange;
} h1 { font-size: 90px; color: white; }
h2 { font-size: 53; }
h3 { font-size: 20px; color: #48525c; }
primary-content {
border: 3px solid red; }
main-footer {
padding: 60px; padding-bottom: 60px; border-bottom: solid 10px orange; }
My HTML's footer looked like this (Couldnt post it all, something happened)
<footer id="main-footer">
<p>All rights reserved to the state of <a href="#">California</a>.</p>
<a href="#">Back to top »</a>
</footer>
</body> </html>

3,493 PointsHey Liam, sup.
so I quickly went through the video and I think the issue you're having is that you have "padding" and not "padding-top"
having just "padding" will add padding on all sides of your content.....and since it's 60px, that can make your content appear centered.....
hope that helps...
