I don't know where to go to work on what I am being taught

following the tutorial and keeps telling me to do what he has done and I do not know how to get to the page that I am being taught from

You should download Android Studio. Android Studio is the official IDE (Integrated Development Environment) for building Android Apps. Download from here: https://developer.android.com/studio/index.html Once you have installed that then you should be able to follow along with the tutorials easily.
