Courses Plus Student 660 PointsI don't see why this is not working.
def just_right(mystr): if len(mystr) < 5: print("Your string is too short") elif len(mystr > 5): print("Your string is too long") else: return True
def just_right(mystr):
if len(mystr) < 5:
print("Your string is too short")
elif len(mystr > 5):

29,567 PointsYou have it set to "print" the messages, the challenge is expecting you to "return" them.

2,634 PointsAren't you supposed to do elif len(mystr) > 5 instead of elif len(mystr > 5)?

231,269 PointsAs Jeremy and Kevin have indicated separately...
There are two separate issues:
- The challenge asks that you return the strings, not print them.
- The comparison "
len(mystr > 5)
" should be: "len(mystr) > 5
"
