Java Spring with Hibernate Getting Started with CRUD in Spring + Hibernate Add Saving to DAO & Service

I don't understand how these are errors.

JavaTester.java:66: error: illegal start of expression package com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.dao; ^ JavaTester.java:66: error: not a statement package com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.dao; ^ JavaTester.java:68: error: illegal start of expression import com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.model.Contact; ^ JavaTester.java:68: error: not a statement import com.teamtreehouse.contactmgr.model.Contact; ^ JavaTester.java:70: error: illegal start of expression import java.util.List; ^ JavaTester.java:70: error: not a statement import java.util.List; ^ JavaTester.java:72: error: illegal start of expression public interface ContactDao { ^ 7 errors

I didn't make any changes to the code and it already had these errors. I added the functions to the interfaces that was instructed.

There have been several questions today about Java challenges where the code seems fine. There may be a problem with the challenge validation mechanism.

You might want to make a bug report to the Support staff.
