I entered incomplete code and was told that the answer was correct.

The problem requires a condition statement to test. I did not enter it and it alerted that I was correct.

function max(number1,number2){
  return number2;
}

probably because the if statement would have yielded the same answer... try returning number1 & see what happens ;)
