3,852 PointsI went through this and never saw him create a meme, so yea you shouldn't have one. You can make one easily though.
-Just tap on one of the three images in the "IMAGES" tab.
-Then tap again on the picture, an edittext should appear.
-Write a caption or something then hit the save button.
-Give it a title and hit "Save".
-The Meme will then appear in the "MEMES" tab.
I figured it out based on the other thread:

You have to add the annotation in the app directly.
So once your app is working, click on a image and then click again on the image, write the text, save it, then give it a title and finally save again."

3,852 PointsWhile it isn't necessary to understand the code, it does affect your ability to test alongside him.
Which I would argue, does hinder your understanding as you cannot follow along with him and see the results of the hours of work you put into this.
