Totally lost, don't understand the question.

CodeChallenge.java 
EditText entryField = (EditText)findViewById(R.id.entry_field);
TextView textHolder = (TextView)findViewById(R.id.text_holder);

Dan, You have to get the text from entryField and set it as the text of of the textHolder

textHolder.setText(entryField.getText().toString());
