I keep getting that my implementation is off. Can anyone explain why this is happening?

That message "Your implementation is off." is perhaps not the most helpful response.   :see_no_evil:

But the code that replaces "first_name" is shown only as an example. What the challenge is asking for is a function that will replace any and all object values that are included in the template with "%" characters around the value name.
