I miss the class completion hoopla. Long ago, when a student finished a class, there would be a badge and fireworks.

It felt good ans was a pleasant marker of finishing the course. Now there is neither. Instead there are 2 recommendations of what to study next. (The recommendations often aren't even logical-- JavaScript Basics after finishing several intermediate level JavaScript courses, for instance).

Does anyone else want Treehouse to put back the badge and/or fireworks on course completion, or am I being a bit pathetic for wanting a pat on the back from a computer?

Flip the "page" to see your final badge.

It looks like I started just two days after you, but I don't remember any "fireworks". But you still get a badge for each course stage you complete.

Perhaps you're not seeing the badge for your last stage. When you get that recommendation screen, click on the arrow on the right side to see your final badge, and again to see your progress graph.
