I need to buy a Laptop for Front End web design and light Graphic Art?

I would like to get a Mac laptop, but I am not sure what kind would be the best for front end web design and lots of Adobe product use? Don't want to be oversold at Apple...any suggestions?

Don't undersell yourself for the future by buying with only price in mind. Buy with the future in mind, meaning, get as much ram installed as the machine will hold, try to afford an SSD drive rather than an optical drive, for speed and stability. The creative world is mainly Mac, and the coding world seems to be mainly PC. I am a Mac user and PC's irritate me, but I am a creative, so there's that. Hope this helps you decide!

Price is always in mind. 8 gigs or more of ram is good. An SSD is a necessity these days for a laptop but be sure to keep some wiggle room in your budget for a good external drive for extra space.

Christopher is right about the creative world being mostly mac and the coding world being PC. This is just a coincidence though because it is how you use your tools and not letting the tools define you.

That being said I have a 13" macbook pro that I got used from the apple store. I wish I got the 15" with the graphics card for gamez.

I've been a PC user my entire life. I had a desktop PC that i would use for everything but after moving i had to pack all that up and I needed something to keep me going. I purchased a 13 inch Macbook pro last year. I had never used a mac before then and I have to say I am very happy. Yes it was expensive but the two Windows laptops I've had in the course of my life became outdated and slow/worthless within a year or so after purchasing. My macbook has given me zero issues a year and half later. I code Front end Web development and Android Dev along with Photoshop here and there for graphics needed for both of those categories.. If i was going to start over right now i would buy a 15 inch macbook pro with the strongest specs i could afford. Hope that helps.

Speaking for myself, I bought an iMac 24'' during 2008 with Apple Care. Almost three years later it went down (bye bye graphic card).

The Apple Store give me a brand new iMac 27'' on 2011 no money asked (something not too common here in Argentina) and it's the iMac I'm using right now: Intel Quad Core i5 2.7Ghz, 1 TB HDD, 16GB RAM.

Already almost 4 years had past, but it's still the best computer I've ever used. No PC works like this at least for me.
