Pattern of what? What pattern is there when we describe Object methods etc..? I see no pattern just a name, definition and examples. So this is a pattern of definitions? Like a dictionary pattern where there is a word followed by a pronunciation, definition, and example?
Why isn't this labelled dictionary or Wiki. Seems like they just threw in Pattern because it looks technical when you say it. This word just throws me off.

231,269 PointsThe use of the word "pattern" relating to design, and then specifically to software, is a relatively recent innovation (since 1987). But then, a lot of the software technology you may be studying here is even newer.
