PROBLEM SOLVED: I figured this out. There is an issue with the validation of step 3 in the exercise. I forgot the '.' at the end of the menu string. It passed stage 3 validation. Stage 4 however, was mad there was no period, but the error message did not indicate that.
ORIGINAL QUESTION: This code seems to fail the validation and I can't continue the course. Not sure why, as this results in the menu being set to the value of 'Our available flavors are: banana split, hot fudge, cherry, malted, black and white'
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}"
menu = menu.format(", ".join(sundaes))
