Thanks for bringing this to our attention, you're totally right! The fetch
API makes these kind of requests a lot easier than shown in the video. While it was added in Node v18, it has been an experimental feature for a long time. With the release of Node v21.x in November 2023 the feature became stable and can now be used as an alternative to the https
module used in this workshop.
I'll bring this up with the team to see if we can add a refresh for this workshop to the content roadmap 🙂
