I tried this in the console log and it is giving me my variable. But the test is coming out as failed?

function returnValue( myValue ){ var echo = myValue; return echo; } returnValue("My argument");

script.js
function returnValue( myValue ){
  var echo = myValue;
  return echo;
}
returnValue("My argument");

Hi, you have to store the argument in the echo variable calling the function, not inside the function:

function returnValue (myValue) {
  return myValue;
}
var echo = returnValue("My argument");
