I tried with this query "SELECT SUBSTR(first_name, 1, 1) || " " || last_name AS initial FROM customers;" and return me "

I think my query its ok, but the quiz return me an error.

I tried with this query "SELECT SUBSTR(first_name, 1, 1) || " " || last_name AS initial FROM customers;" and return me "Bummer: Expecting results like 'L Chalkley' not 'L Chalkley'." =(

Hello Edgardo, The challenge is asking you to retrieve TWO distinct columns:

  • initialized first_name as initial with SUBSTR ()
  • last_name

Please do not concatenate these two columns. So, || part is redundant. Then it should work. OK?
