Illustrator for Web Design Course

By the time I'd got to the Illustrator Foundations course when I'd first started, the latest version of Illustrator was already a version or 2 ahead of me. I use Illustrator CS5. Not the CC package.

If I follow the course how much can I apply to my version of Illustrator? :) Thanks.

I've worked through about half of Illustrator for Web Design and I think that you should be fine with CS5. I started using Illustrator in CS5 and while some nice tools have been added, the fundamentals of the program remain the same. I don't exactly remember the support for Symbols/Effects in CS5, but even then those are just convenience tools.

tldr: You can definitely complete this course with CS5.
