Illustrator to Photoshop

I'm using this tutorial (Photoshop Foundations > Vector Shapes > Pixel Snapping & Hinting

Allison takes a vector from illustrator to Photoshop. I created a similar vector and tried to import it as well, and then I tried to save it and use it as an icon in an application. The anti-aliasing is terrible on the diagonal lines. I followed her instructions, but it's just not what I am expecting. Any ideas or tips about this?

Note: I'm using CS6 and I don't see "Show Pixel Grid" only "Show Grid" any thoughts on that as well?

Last Note: I'm trying to tag "Photoshop" but it's not possible. Any way to add that?

Gotcha. Got to eager with the space bar I see. Thanks!

Does the graphic have gradients in it?

Nope! Just a simple box and trapezoid below it. I still feel like I'm going from Illustrator to Photoshop incorrectly, and thought that the video mentioned above would help (which it did) but I don't get the feeling that I'm doing it the right way. Oh well... I'm gonna go try a few different settings and place it into a mobile application and see if any method gives me better results.

Both csnvases in 100% view? If you import/paste in a zoomed in canvas things like that happen

Hmm... okay I think I figured out my problem. I didn't have the pixel grid option in cs6, but I did an update and now it's there. Also, I guess I was just a little confused because at the end of the video, Allison says that we can't really fix the diagonals, but then she stays zoomed in at 300% which makes it look pretty bad.
