CSS CSS Basics (2014) Basic Layout Styling the "Wildlife" div with Background Properties

I'm having a problem with: CSS Basics, Challenge Task 1 of 5

After multiple attempts I can't see what my problem is with this css rule

(Task Error Message) Bummer: Since the style sheet is not in a separate folder, make sure you're using 'url()' to set the background image value to 'img/bear.jpg'.

.wildlife { background-image: url ('img/bear.jpg'); }

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */

.wildlife { background-image: url ('img/bear.jpg');

}

Hey Ivory,

You pretty much have it, however the slightest syntax error can stop your code from working. The space you added between 'url' and your parentheses '()' will do just that.

Your code:

.wildlife {
  background-image: url ('img/bear.jpg');
}

Try this:

.wildlife {
  background-image: url('img/bear.jpg');
}

Notice that the url and parenthses are represented as one block with no white space between. Hope this helps :)

Thanks for your wonderful help!
