14,600 PointsHi Bryan,
there were a few errors in your code. First, in the message string you misspelled "Try again". Also, instead of new DialogInterface
just pass null
. After this statement, you forgot a semicolon and a closing brace. I improved your code by using method chaining, no need to type builder
several times.
This code should work for you:
import android.content.Context;
import android.os.Bundle;
public class AlertDialogFragment extends DialogFragment {
@Override
public Dialog onCreateDialog(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
Context context = getActivity();
// Insert code here!
AlertDialog.Builder builder = new AlertDialog.Builder(context)
.setTitle("Sorry!")
.setMessage("Try again!")
.setPositiveButton("OK", null);
AlertDialog dialog = builder.create();
return dialog;
}
}
With my best regards,
Philip
