It's hard to tell without seeing your code. If you post it I'm sure someone will be able to answer you question

Hi Bryce,

If you're on the challenge that you've linked your question to, you need to add the shout.js file into the html inside the body tags: Something like:

<body>
  <script src="shout.js"></script>
</body>

I hope that answers your question.
