Hey! I been programming for a week or so. I want to know is it okay that I don't understand some things that are taught? Is it a bad sign when I don't understand a video lesson? Should I move? Will it affect me later? Will I ever become good if I don't understand something.

28,149 PointsYou will generally be fine. You should be able to understand the core concepts before moving too far ahead, but it's okay to understand everything all at once. If you get too hung up, move and and try circling back later. It's a lot of 2 steps forward, 1 step backwards as you learn things.
But I can tell, I've been doing this for 5 years - and there are still things I will read that I don't understand the first time, or even multiple times after reading them.
I've found just doing an effective teacher as well, so don't get too caught up in the reading, also make sure you're doing plenty of coding and make mistakes.
