In mysql is it possible to have a column with multiple values in that are the same

and have an id for those values. So for example I have the table

|id |ul-id  |
|---|-------|
|1 |port-ul |
|2 |land-ul |
|3 |port-ul |
|4 |land-ul |
|5 |misc-ul |
|6 |misc-ul |

but I want this to become;

|id |ul-id   |other_id |
|---|--------|-----------|
|1 |port-ul  | 1            |
|2 |land-ul | 1            |
|3 |port-ul | 2           |
|4 |land-ul | 2           |
|5 |misc-ul | 1           |
|6 |misc-ul | 2          |
