Hi there! You are super close! You're off by one character. When we are selecting there are few rules to keep in mind. When you're selecting a basic element such as a <p> or <div>, you do not precede the selector with anything. When selecting a class the selector should be preceded with a period/full stop. And when selecting an ID, the selector should be preceded with a hash tag/pound sign #.

So, if I just add a period/full stop before your selector like so:

.intro {
  font-size: 1.25em;/*20px/16px*/
}

... your code is functional and passes the challenge!

Note: If this had been an "id", we would have used #intro instead.
