This is my wrong answer which generates the incorrect mark and the above question:

When you're including a secondary box-shadow on a selector you have to separate your sets of values with a comma. That way each value is parsed separately. For example:
.this-selector {
box-shadow: 0 0 5px #444, inset 0 0 10px 5px blue;
}

14,268 PointsPatrick, the way you originally had things, the second box-shadow property was overriding the first (the nature of cascading styles). When you use the comma-separated format, both box-shadows are applied to the element.
