IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate users! Are you having any problems with freezing? I am having to force quit way too often.

I was using 2017.2.1 but I had to Force Quit so often that I dropped back to 2017.1. Now the freezing is getting bad on 2017.1. I can't work if I have to force quit every 20 minutes or so and in between Force Quits have to spend half my time watch the pinwheel spin.

Is anyone out there familiar with the problem? How did you fix it?

In the mean time anyone have any suggestions on a reliable IDE that will do two things:

  1. integrate with Github
  2. Allow multiple project windows to be open simultaneously.

Free code or Purchased, I don't care. I just want reliable.
