Introducing User-Defined Functions task 3

I've been having a lot of trouble with this question, and have tried a lot of things to get it to work. It says the variable $sum has the wrong value. I am supposed to use the mimic_array_sum function, store the value in a variable called $sum, and echo it to the screen.

<?php

function mimic_array_sum($array) {

  $count = 0;

    foreach ( $array as $arrays ) {
        $count = $count + $arrays;
    }
 return $count;

};

$sum = mimic_array_sum($palindromic_primes);
$palindromic_primes = array(11, 757, 16361);

echo $sum;

?>

You have to move $palindromic_primes above the $sum variable.

<?php
$palindromic_primes = array(11, 757, 16361);
$sum = mimic_array_sum($palindromic_primes);

echo $sum;
?>

You called your mimic_array_sum function before you defined the palindromic_primes array, so you didn't pass anything into the function. Try swapping those two lines around:

<?php
$palindromic_primes = array(11, 757, 16361);
$sum = mimic_array_sum($palindromic_primes);
?>

It worked! Thanks ya'll so much.
