Is "detailContainer" referring to the element from the original or expanded layout?

detailContainer is the ID of the Relative Layout in both the original and the expanded layout, so how does the function know which layout is being referred to at the beginning of the transition?

Is it because a view is passed into the onClickListener that is the first layout that was clicked?

Also would this code still work if the two Relative Layouts in these two files had different ID's? For example, if in the expanded layout file, we have the Relative Layout an ID of detailContainerTwo?
