it is a simpler, cleaner way to iterate that reduces opportunity for error. it can be used frequently but is not suitable if you need to modify the collection you are looping through.

James, thank you. Can you please elaborate why is it not suitable if you need to modify the collection? I was thinking it's the best way to go because you either change for cars as car TO for aligators as aligator, OR you can just add and remove items from the collection, so I really can't see why it's not suitable for modifications...
