Is the leaderboard info correct?

I was wondering if the treehouse leaderboard info is still correct?

My stats say I've got more points than 97% of all other students but I only have about 1240 points. Surely this cant be right?

My stats also say I've done 83% more in points, in javascript, even though I still haven't finished every javascript course on treehouse yet.

If you want to feel not so far ahead of other treehouse students you can just check your "all time" ranking for points / badges.

That will ground you... ;-)

I think that it is correct, and there are simply a lot of students who likely sign up for the free trial and don't end up sticking with it, and students who sign up but have no interest in learning JavaScript (there are lots of other courses on Treehouse).

Ahh, I'd forgotten about the free trial. It's been a while since I did mine. 97% still feels a little high tho.

I'm 6887th in all time ... I'm now suitably grounded ..lol
