The problem here is that in the spaceship method definition body, you didn't actually compare the size of two shoes. To do so, you need to write the code this way.

class Shoes
  include Comparable
  attr_accessor :size

  def initialize(size)
    @size = size
  end

  def <=>(other)
    self.size <=> other.size
  end
end
