Is there something missing with this question?

The question goes:

"Since the works of Shakespeare are public domain, the 1996 film "Romeo + Juliet" starring Leonardo DiCaprio is also public domain and can be posted freely online."

There is nothing missing from the question that I can see. It just wants a true or false answer based on certain reasoning. The movie is a new creation and has its own copyright, even though it is based on Shakespeare (which is public domain). Hope this helps.

Good Morning Anwar,

If any work is in the public domain it can be posted freely online.

Work that is in the public domain has no intellectual property rights so anyone can use them.

I hope this is helpful.
