Isn't the chance of Math.ceil(Math.random()*6)==0 == to same chance of Math.ceil(Math.random()*6)+1=7?

You're generating a number between 0 & 1. So, wouldn't these probabilities be the same? Wouldn't it just be better to use the round method?

Assuming you meant "==" instead of "=" in the last expression, the probabilities of both should be similar. But neither of these examples use "round", which would not give equal probabilities across the entire range..

And most conventional random formulae use "floor" instead of "ceil".
