2,665 PointsIssue with Creating Variables (2/2) and solution
In challenge 2/2, Treehouse needs to clarify that you need to use the combination of strings, commas, spaces and variables together to get the answer just the way they ask.
The instructions are actually confusing new users because, as beginners, people will think you literally have to type the instructions word for word. Yes, it is a "challenge," but remind students to use what they've learned to print out the result.
Btw, the answer is:
favorite_color = "red"
print("The color " , favorite_color , " is my favorite!)
Note that I left a space at the end and beginning of the quotes to leave spaces between the word red. I was only able to solve this because I've taken lessons before. Treehouse needs to clarify this.

Courses Plus Student 234 PointsI agree with you on being specific... on this same course we were told to save but not constantly save & that took me 2 hours to figure out and many many downloads of different browsers. I just remind myself that the video said were going to make mistakes lol freaking 2 hour mistake but whatever.

231,269 PointsThere's not just one "answer" to this challenge, and in fact there are several different ways to achieve the same result. The important thing is to construct an output that looks like the sample, spacing and all.
If you really think there's something wrong with the course itself, you can always report it to the Support staff. They do make changes when they agree it's a bug, and hand out "Exterminator" badges to the finder.

Courses Plus Student 158 PointsYour answer is wrong, unfortunately. here's the correct one:
favorite_color = "red"
print("The color" , favorite_color , "is my favorite!")
You missed the final quotation mark.
Don't confuse people..especially if you have taken lessons before :) Best regards
