it doesnt work

I tried removing the double quotes around the variable names...but still tasl two is not passing.

Hi there! I see you asked about this question before, but the problem here is that you're overwriting the value stored in $fullName. The value stored there is supposed to be "Rasmus Lerdorf."

But in this line you change the value to "Rasmus Lerdorf was the original creator of PHP.", which is obviously not his full name.

$fullName= $fullName." was the original creator of PHP\n";

The challenge is asking you to echo out that directly without changing the value stored in $fullName. We can do that like this:

echo "$fullName was the original creator of PHP.\n";

This echoes out the same thing while keeping the value stored in $fullName intact.
