3,329 PointsI've installed the plugin and it's started, but it's not showing up in the Android Device/Debug monitor
This is the final step in the video, and I'm not sure why it's not showing up in the Android Device Monitor like Ben's is in the video. In fact when I start the Device Monitor, there are no devices at all in it. I can't figure out how to add it. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

15,682 PointsAre you referring to the Genymotion emulator? I had the same confusion. Before you attempt to run your app, make sure that there is an instance of the Genymotion Emulator running. You can hit the plugin button, or you can open it outside of Android Studio. Once Genymotion is running, it should show up in the list and you should be able to run your app through it. Hope this helps.

3,329 PointsThanks, I guess I needed a little patience. i left everything and did some other stuff while waiting for a response in the forum and I came back now and rechecked the Device Monitor and Genymotion was now showing up. I'm thinking it was perhaps a little slow to respond.
