Java Local Development Environments How it Works Check Your Installation

java -version not giving right result

I ran java -version and copied the output that I am getting from the terminal. But I am getting an error. This is the ouput when I run java -version command:

openjdk version "1.8.0_91" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_91-8u91-b14-0ubuntu4~16.04.1-b14) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.91-b14, mixed mode)

It's been noted that the challenge is expecting an Oracle JDK instead of Open JDK, which is standard for a lot of people on Linux. There really isn't much difference between the two except for passing this challenge. You could just plug in the output listed in the answer here to get it to pass: https://teamtreehouse.com/community/seems-i-broke-it-linux-for-this-course
