JavaTester.java:99: error: cannot find symbol JSONObject jsonData = JSONObject();

I can't see what the challenge wants me to do . I create a jsonObject .

JSONChallenge.java
// A JSONObject variable named 'jsonData'
// was loaded from the data.json file.

JSONObject jsonData =  JSONObject();
String name = jsonData.getString("name");
String publisher = jsonData.getString("publisher");
String language = jsonData.getString("language");
data.json
{
    "name":"Treehouse Book Series",
    "publisher":"Wiley",
    "language":"English",
    "books":[
        {
            "title":"HTML5 Foundations",
            "author":"Matt West",
            "pages":384
        },
        {
            "title":"CSS3 Foundations",
            "author":"Ian Lunn",
            "pages":352
        }
    ]
}

Michael;

If you look at the comments in the JSONChallenge.java tab, you will see that the JSONObject has already been created. Remove the first line of your code and you will have it.

Post back if you are still stuck.

Happy coding,

Ken
