General Discussion

Keeping up with your health while coding.

This post is not about programming As most of us programmers spend most of our day sitting in front of a screen making awesome code that shapes our future. As we get connected with our screens, we forget about our poor body. A lot of programmers (including me) get a lot of pain in our back and neck, some even suffer more. I want to set a challenge for myself to make a program using my most beloved programming language, python, that plays a sound to remind me to sit up straight and to remind me to get up and move around a bit. I challenge you guys to make a program in your most comfortable programming language that is based on this idea. Maybe it reminds you using an SMS message, maybe make a website that provides such service, you do it the way you like. Use the knowledge that you have learned to help yourself and others, that way it's a win-win situation. With that being said, good luck everybody, and remember that your health is important!
