keeps saying error

JavaTester.java:123: error: incompatible types: void cannot be converted to String response = console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response); ^

this is the only error I get (the "^" is actually right under the first parenthesis) and I'm not understanding what I'm doing wrong please help.

Example.java
// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
do {
    response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
} while (response.equals("No"));
    response = console.printf("Because you said %s, you passed the test!", response);

it's telling you that the console.printf method is a void method, which means it returns nothing, but you are trying to store its return in a variable. when the challenge says print the statement, it doesn't mean modify the value of response, just print whatever it wants you to print after the loop exits.
