Keyboard shortcut to move selected text over one space?

Hey! He's said this in previous videos but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm using a MAC. Help? Trying to indent large section of selected text at once. Thanks!

It depends on the text editor you are using but on a Mac most text editors use CMD + ](right bracket) to indent and CMD + [(left bracket to outdent.
